Partnership Expansion Announcement

When we founded Verum in 2019, our mission was clear: to improve the lives of others by raising the bar in wealth management. We envisioned an enduring, private partnership built not around any one individual, but around a culture of shared ownership, accountability, and the collective pursuit of excellence. From day one, we committed to a model of broad equity participation—one where no single partner could own a controlling stake. This principle has guided every step of our journey.

We built Verum to be different from many other professional services firms. Each founding partner joined with the belief that a firm like ours should be led collaboratively, and that leadership responsibilities should be entrusted to a broader group of dedicated professionals. We’ve been proud to uphold that principle from the very start.

As part of our long-term planning, Verum engaged a nationally respected consultant in 2024—an expert in executive compensation, succession planning, and the structure of thriving private partnerships. With this guidance, we’ve developed a thoughtful framework to support Verum’s evolution into a more mature and enduring enterprise.

We are thrilled to announce that three critical team members have become partners:

• Molly Bohrer – Molly was one of our earliest employees. She joined us in 2021 as a Client Partner and has grown to head the firm’s operations function and oversee the client partner team, and is Verum’s marketing and growth director. Molly’s contributions to the firm have been invaluable. She has consistently demonstrated excellence in operations, client service, and leadership. Molly’s commitment to Verum’s mission and culture has been foundational to our success and we are delighted to welcome her to the partnership.
• Walker Shelton – Walker joined Verum in 2023 along with Dave Perkins and Justin Louis. He leads our financial planning efforts and is a dedicated adviser. Walker’s strategic thinking, deep technical knowledge, and client-first approach make him a natural fit for the partnership. Walker is a member of Verum’s leadership team and head of our financial planning committee. 
• Justin Louis – Like Walker, Justin joined Verum in 2023. In addition to serving as an adviser, Justin oversees the practice management of our advisory function. He has also been a critical member of the marketing efforts at Verum and sits on our investment committee and leadership team.
