Team descriptions
Advisory
Our team of financial advisers is assembled into groups called Diamond Teams. This structure gives clients a dynamic team of professionals allowing multiple perspectives to influence the advice process and it creates paths of natural growth for talent within advisory. Each diamond is made up of the following roles:
- Oversight of dedicated Diamond Team
- Client service, relationship building, business development and firm management.
- Training of co-advisers, leading client relationships and meetings
- Provides advice and execution of financial planning and investment strategy
- Primarily client service & relationship management with growing business development responsibilities
- This is a developmental role that brings together and builds upon knowledge in both financial planning and investments;
- Schedule & attend most client meetings, help with follow-up notes and to-do’s, with the goal of growing into a lead adviser
- Assists with execution of advice by acting as a liaison between the Advisory and Centralized Client Service teams
- 100% client service, 0% business development
Centralized client service
Our client service team takes an ensemble approach, providing support to every diamond team and all clients across the firm. It is composed of the following teams:
- Handles all things related to client operations: general account servicing, money movements, alternative investments subscriptions/reporting, and new client onboarding
- Manages CRM (Wealthbox) and custodian relationships (Charles Schwab and Fidelity)
- Communication with clients is mainly had over email and phone; tactically brought into client-facing role based on technical questions
- Provide topical expertise for advisory teams
- Investment deliverables: proficient in trading (Eclipse) and reporting (Orion) software
- Investment team conducts manager research and due diligence, updates capital market assumptions, and makes high-level strategic decisions for the firm ensuring consistency of thought across client portfolios
- Financial Planning team reviews case studies, shares ideas and opportunities that benefit clients, stays abreast of changes to the regulatory environment, and maintains consistency of advice across the Advisory team.
- Financial planning deliverables: running client reports and projections using planning software (MoneyGuidePro, eMoney, and Asset Map)
- Heavily involved behind-the-scenes; tactically brought into client-facing role based on technical questions

Current Opportunities
The Associate Adviser (AA) will join the advisory team within Verum’s ensemble, “Diamond Teams” structure to provide service and support to a variety of client relationships. Under the mentorship of other advisors, the primary focus of this role is an advisory apprenticeship where the team member will develop and fine-tune skills across financial planning and investment disciplines with the ultimate goal of growing into a Lead Adviser.
